Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Environmental Law Examiner Pro, operated by Shaila Catan ("Owner"). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
- By accessing or using Environmental Law Examiner Pro (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the Non-Disclosure and Intellectual Property Protection Agreement.
- If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
- The Platform provides AI-powered analysis of environmental regulations and compliance documents, with a focus on CFR Title 40 and EPA regulations.
- Features include document analysis, compliance chat assistants, regulatory search, knowledge base access, and report generation.
- The Owner reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice.
3. Not Legal Advice
- The Platform provides AI-generated analysis for informational and assistive purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional legal, engineering, or environmental advice.
- AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for verifying all analyses, citations, and compliance determinations with qualified professionals before relying on them.
- No attorney-client, engineer-client, or advisory relationship is formed through use of the Platform.
4. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of documents you upload and for ensuring you have the right to submit them to a third-party AI processing service.
- You agree to use the Platform only for authorized environmental compliance purposes and not to misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract proprietary methodologies.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
5. Intellectual Property
- All intellectual property in the Platform, including software, algorithms, AI analysis architectures, prompts, and outputs, is the exclusive property of Shaila Catan.
- No ownership rights are transferred to you through use of the Platform. Detailed obligations are set forth in the Non-Disclosure Agreement.
6. Acceptable Use
- You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you are not authorized to share.
- You agree not to attempt to access administrative functions, circumvent security measures, or overload the Platform.
- You agree not to use the Platform to develop competing products or services.
7. Disclaimers
- The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- The Owner does not warrant that analyses will be error-free or that regulatory citations are current or complete.
8. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
- You assume all risk associated with relying on AI-generated analyses for any decision.
9. Termination
- The Owner may terminate or suspend your access at any time, including for breach of these Terms or the Non-Disclosure Agreement.
- Upon termination, confidentiality and intellectual property obligations survive indefinitely.
10. Changes to These Terms
- The Owner may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the version date on this page.
- Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by applicable intellectual property and contract laws. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, with the prevailing party entitled to recovery of reasonable attorneys' fees.
